    CARAÏBOS : ALREADY, 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND TALENT

 
1976 : CARAÏBOS, a new company keen to share the tastiest products of island farming, started out on an adventure dedicated entirely to creating and distributing tropical drinks made from fruit of selected origin.

1980 :
CARAÏBOS, the “inventor” of Fruit Nectar.
As well as producing juices of outstanding quality, the company began to specialise in creating exceptionally fine Fruit Nectars.

From 1980, CARAÏBOS marketed four astonishing, exclusive flavours, creating a revolution in consumer habits:

• Passion Fruit Nectar,
• Mango Nectar,
• Guava Nectar,
• Lime Nectar

1982 : with its Banana Nectar, the company won an award for innovation and achieved recognition in Europe.

1983 :
production was diversified.

A specialist in the fruit drinks market, CARAÏBOS also satisfied demand for traditional Fruit Juices and, between 1983 and 1984, produced:

• Pineapple Juice and Pure Juice,
• Orange Juice,
• Grapefruit Juice,
• Clementine Juice.

1988 : A number of traditional European flavours were produced: Cherry, Peach, Pear, Apricot and Tomato...

1998 : introduction of alcohol-free cocktails (1 litre):
• Pina Colada,
• Island Cocktail,
• Mojita.
 
2003 : innovation in the food and drinks sectors:
• three new tropical, alcohol-free cocktail ingredients were introduced in a 25 cl format:
• Pina Colada,
• Mojita,
• Apple.

 
The first CARAÏBOS aperitif products were marketed. They were called “Aperi’Dos” and were awarded the 2004 “Flavour of the Year” prize in the “Salted grains” category.
This original tropical fruit and nut assortment comes in 4 flavours:
• Mango / Brazil Nut
• Papaya / Macadamia Nut
• Pineapple / Pecan Nut
• Ginger/ Cashew Nut


2006 : Innovation in the cocktails sector
• launch of TROPICAL COCKTAILS: the 1st individual, ready-to-drink tropical fruit cocktails. Fruit cocktails with original recipes, full of flavour and highly refreshing. A varied, relaxed method of consumption, with a straw, in a glass, with or without alcohol, to be enjoyed chilled or on ice.

• April 2006 : 2 Max Havelaar label “fair trade” ranges launched: an ABC 1 L juice range and a World Cocktails 1L range

• April 2006 :
launch of a fruit cocktail with Aloe Vera

• May 2006 :
launch of Crystal (100% white cranberry blanc) reserved exclusively for the prestige circuit
